TRAI new rules for continue mobile service

TRAI has set new rules for discontinue of service to the customers by their mobile operators. According to the TRAI new rules,

If a customer uses audio/video call, sms, uses any value added service or internet data, then his sim card is treated to be in use.
For maximum of 90 days is allowed for the customers to avoid the disconnection of unused sim.
If a pre paid sim has Rs. 20 or more balance in his account, that can not be considered for disconnection.
If a sim is disconnected, because of not using sim for more than 90 days, and has an amount less than Rs. 20 in his account, within 15 days it can be reactivated by paying some amount as fine.\

Post paid customers can reserve their number paying some reasonable amount.
